Born and raised in Petaluma, California, Mario grew up as a creative and visually tuned artist, a trait that grew while building things from the ground up.

Beginning with editing and fight sequences, Mario established his intentional, clear and gritty style early on. Inspired by the likes of Hitchcock and classic cinematic masters, Mario began to work behind the camera, finding new ways to bring forth what he’s learned and adapt it to his own.

Studying Cinematography at California State University, Northridge, his style became recognizable. One of his projects qualified for student Academy Awards. Working for the likes of Netflix, Disney+, Comedy Central and many more, his effort and passion speaks volumes. 

With a strong handful of experience and over a decade of crafting projects, from features, commercials, pilots and music videos, Mario brings everything to the table.

With ingenuity, style and depth, he continues to make every story come to life.
